Zero-emission zone
Since last year, a zero-emission zone is in force within the ring road of the city of Eindhoven.
The competition venue itself is located outside this zone. However, the lorry parking at the TU/e campus is located within the zero-emission zone.
All participants must check well in advance whether their vehicle is allowed to enter this zone. If access is not permitted, an exemption must be applied for in time. Please note that applying for an exemption involves costs.

Course designer Theo van Vught designed the very first Eindhoven Derby on May 15, 1983. At the time it was still a national event, but that changed in 1986 when Eindhoven was officially renamed a Concours de Saut International, in other words: an international show jumping competition. Prince Bernhard presented the prizes; the derby was won by Austrian Hugo Simon and his horse The Freak.
